Oak Knoll Elementary School

At the beginning of each school year, teachers choose a buddy class.  The classes that team up are usually a primary and upper grade.  Traditionally, Kindergarteners are paired up with 3rd graders, 1st graders are paired up with 4th Graders, and 2nd Graders are paired up with 5th Graders.  For the entire school year, the buddy classes meet, typically once a week, and do activities together.  It is a great opportunity for students to get to know each other across grade levels and to experience projects across the curriculum.
